During this study of Revelation 16:1-17, Delivered from Wrath, Pastor Mark Martin looks at the seven plagues of Revelation that take place during the great tribulation:
- Excruciating pain.
- Dead man’s blood.
- Water and blood.
- Scorching sun and thirst.
- Darkness.
- Spiritual warfare.
- A great earthquake.
Pastor Mark Martin then ties this in with Romans 5:6-10: “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.”
Pastor Mark then steps through each of the plagues and shows how Jesus took the wrath of God for us on the cross, resulting in our salvation.
